Mulberry Medium Lily Croc

After a few months of not writing on this little blog of mine, I am back. I can believe it is the 24th of November already and sooooooo close to Christmas. This year has just gone by so quickly. A serendipitous finding in mice developed to study the role of Spy1 in the mammary gland revealed that the male Spy1 mice had significantly more primary HCC than their littermate controls. To further explore the role of Spy1 in HCC, NASH has been initiated in wild type mice using a methionine choline deficient diet. Spy1 levels and inflammatory, proliferative and regenerative responses are being monitored by analyzing gene expression, protein levels, fat accumulation and morphological changes.

The gyoza was ok not great, but ok. Like the last time I had it, it seemed a bit too fried for my liking, though the flavour was nice. I don think I order them again (which I think I said last time too! This time it wasn me who ordered them though!)..

They come out in the spring because of the warmer weather. During the fall they seek shelter in our homes because of the cooler weather. Coincidentally, the spring is also when the rest of the insect world decides to wake up from their winter slumber.

The story of the Kalakshetra saree and its maker are both very inspiring. Let me begin with Rukmini Devi Arundale. Her name needs no introduction. Here’s Snopes’ take on the whole thing, and it’s pretty amusing. Literally by the ton. If you were somehow able to continue your mission of killing spiders until every last one was squashed, smooshed, or otherwise obliterated, then you, my friend, would suddenly have a pretty sizable fly problem to deal with, as in millions and billions of flies and their babies, aka maggots, swarming around your face.

Difficult to imagine such abundance today in our depleted forests. For, as Donald Culross Peattie writes in his classic A Natural History of Trees of Eastern and Central North America, withered beechen leaves [in Audubon’s painting] tell us that the season is autumn when the mast is ripe. An autumn that will not come again but lingers, immortal, in those leaves that cannot fall..

The key is to insist that a whole new form of competitiveness needs to be devised. The focus should not be necessarily on cutting costs but on abandoning the principle of core competency. Businesses today are not responding adequately to their fundamental obligation of creating shareholder value.

The GFS is wanting to allow the battle from the north (sounding like Game of Thrones here) to win out at times while the EURO has the high pressure large and in charge for much of the time. Given the pattern as of late, and the performance of the EURO, the trend of the high winning out is how the forecast is leaning for now. This means a return of the 80s next week and perhaps touching 90 for a couple of days before the high does break down and we get some of the north action into the Ohio Valley.Stay tuned for forecast changes during this period as we gather more info. The video will cover the above PLUS a look at the weather analogs. Could we be repeating the Fall/Winter of 2007 2008 again? I will explain. Here is the video update:The forecast is pretty easy in the short term.Hot/hazy this afternoon.
